“This role feels like an adventure, building something that will be a gamechanger in our community.”
Robin arrived in the United States from Derby, England in 2001 to teach soccer to children. His career has followed a nontraditional path, from teaching sport, to working with Special Olympics, before blending nonprofit and education work to find his niche. Before taking up this position he worked at Horizons, as Executive Director, after eight years of leadership and management experience with Special Olympics New York. He holds a MS Elementary Education from Nazareth College and certificate in Non-Profit Management from St. John Fisher University.
Outside of work, he can usually be found on his electric bike, hiking in the Adirondacks, ferrying his two daughters to dance and track, and trying to be partway competent on the over 40’s soccer field with Melchester Rovers.
